Weekly Programs

Looking to get involved? Attend one of our weekly LGBTQ programs hosted at the LGBT Center. Our weekly social programs are open to the entire UCLA community while our new Affinity Spaces are closed spaces for students who hold those specific identities.

Queer Fandom Fanatics

Queer Fandom Fanatics: Thursdays, 3:00–5:00 PM

Come geek out with us as we talk about all things pop culture related through a queer, intersectional lens. For questions, please contact Megan van der Toorn at mvandertoorn@lgbt.ucla.edu.

Queer and Trans People of Color Space

Queer and Trans Black, Indigenous, People of Color (QTBIPOC) Affinity Space: Tuesdays, 12:00–1:00PM

QTBIPOC is an intentional space to build community, envision and work toward our liberation, and have a chance to decompress and enjoy creative expression. This space exists as a disruption to the White classist hetero-normative standards of the institutions we are engaging with and part of and creates a means of coalition building between QTBIPOC on campus and in community. Described as “the co-op fairy queer mansion living room I need to decompress in throughout the day.”
For more information, see the QTBIPOC at UCLA Facebook page.

We Write the Rainbow

We Write the Rainbow: Fridays, 1:00–2:00PM

A weekly graduate student co-working space for graduate students across disciplines. For questions, contact Megan van der Toorn at mvandertoorn@lgbt.ucla.edu.

The Ace Space

The Ace Space, An Asexual & Aromantic Affinity Space: Mondays, 2:00–3:00PM

The Ace Space is a weekly dialogue space for anyone on the asexual and/or aromantic spectrums to socialize and build community. For questions, contact Megan van der Toorn at mvandertoorn@lgbt.ucla.edu.
