UCLA Alumni Lambda Network is the official alumni association of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Alumni. We support the mission and vision of the LGBT Campus Resource Center and provide scholarships for LGBT undergraduate and graduate students and well as social activities and support for the UCLA LGBT Campus Community.
Each year, the UCLA Lambda Alumni Association awards at least one 4-year $1,000/year scholarship (for incoming freshman students) or 2-year$1,000/year scholarship (for incoming transfer students). We select a scholar from a competitive pool of applicants, and the awardee becomes a UCLA Alumni Scholar, part of a cohort of students who receive support from the UCLA Alumni Association and are asked to give back to the university. We take great pride in being a part of this scholarship tradition.

The True Bruin Distinguished Senior Award is a prestigious scholarship awarded to highly meritorious students who exemplify the True Bruin values of Integrity, Excellence, Accountability, Respect, and Service.
It is an opportunity for seniors to receive a scholarship through the esteemed Alumni Scholarship Program, and showcase the skills, knowledge, and leadership experiences they have gained on campus and in their community. Award recipients will receive a $5,000 scholarship and be recognized and celebrated across campus.
All eligible seniors are welcome to apply. A volunteer alumni committee will screen applications and then invite top-ranked candidates for an interview before final selections are made.

Lambda has historically awarded one or two awards to continuing or graduating LGBTQ or ally undergraduate students each year. Announced at Lavender Graduation (a commencement event for LGBTQ students) in June, the award recognizes students’ contributions to the LGBTQ community on campus, and hopes to inspire continued service and activism.
