UCLA is home to over 15 LGBTQ student organizations! All of the student organizations are student directed and supported. For more information on how to participate in a student organization check out their websites below.
Some of the student organizations meet weekly or biweekly - others host special events, educational events, LGBT awareness programs and social hours.

Student Coalition for Marriage Equality (SCME)
Started in January 2005 as a group advocating for the civil rights of LGBT peoples. The goal is simple, but the task is large. Voter identification, education/awareness about candidates' stances on LGBT issues (specifically same-sex marriage), statewide event with other campuses in Winter quarter, same-sex wedding ceremony in the spring.

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning & Ally Caucus serves to encourage education, social justice, and activism around issues affecting the LGBTQ Community.
